Part of Wright State University’s main campus will look different after some new upgrades.
The university announced on May 14 that renovations are being made to The Hangar and the fountain outside of Allyn Hall.
The upgrades are expected to be completed by the start of the fall semester.
According to a spokesperson for the university, the project is known as the Allyn Hall Hanger Beautification Project, and will see renovations made to the exterior of Allyn Hall, the moat and the surrounding area.
The university had its earliest graduation ceremonies in this part of campus.
The fountain will be redesigned to feature two separate features (see renderings) and scaled down for easier maintenance. A stage will be added between the two water features to bolster outdoor events.
