The WSU Retirees Association (WSURA) offers retired faculty and staff opportunities for continued service to the university and fellowship with one another. Comprised of retired faculty and staff, WSURA supports student scholarships and participates in a broad range of activities. WSURA is not affiliated with Wright State University.

DDN: Basketball Coach Clint Sargent signs contract extension
Wright State Raiders men’s basketball coach Clint Sargent has agreed to a contract extension through 2031, the school announced on Wednesday, Aug. 26. The Raiders reached the NCAA tournament for the fifth time in program history in 2026.

DDN: Wright State volleyball: Raiders return key pieces from championship team
The Wright State volleyball team opens the 2026 season at 6 p.m. Friday, Aug. 28, against Santa Clara at the Nutter Center in the Raider Invitational. The Raiders then play Eastern Illinois at 1 p.m. Saturday and Marquette at 7 p.m. Saturday.

DDN: As Wright State continues construction, freshmen move into dorms
More than 2,400 students moved into Wright State dorms beginning Wednesday, Aug. 19, with an increase in enrollment projected, said Sue Edwards, Wright State University president. The university is spending $4.5 million to install a roundabout and revamp the front of campus.
