Robert A Wood, 75, of Beavercreek Ohio, passed away Monday August 10, 2026. Bob was born in Urbana, Ohio. to the late Charles and Juanita Wood. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife Teresa Wood.
Bob is survived by his brother Charles Jackson Wood; and children, daughter Kristin and Tim Nietfeld; daughter Sarah and Jason Barrett; son Michael and Madalyn Miller; and his grandchildren Carrie, Viera, Michelle, Kayta, Javen and Lorelei.
Bob earned an undergraduate and master’s degree from Wright State University where he also worked for 34 years. His love of softball, gardening (mowing grass), march madness, grilling, hosting annual beer tastings for family and friends, and all things hot peppers, was only surpassed by his love of his grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 10–11 a.m. on Saturday August 22, 2026, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd, Beavercreek. Immediately following visitation hours, Bob will be laid to rest at Mt. Zion Park Cemetery, 27 S. Fairfield Rd, Beavercreek.
